CorrosionRADAR was born in 2017 as a spin-out of Cranfield University and Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam had been mentoring the founding team ever since when the idea was on paper to now a growing global company. Shai currently serves on its board and his insights in venture creation, his angel and investor network helped mature the startup resulting in the company gaining pre-seed fund and subsequently angel and VC investments along with global growth in commercialisation of product.

When my brother suggested I join him as part of a team to help build what has become the Quiet Accelerator I was curious and excited. But as we developed the support for other ventures, it lit a flame inside for my partners Joe, Stuart and myself! So, we moved from middle-aged comfortable corporate people to entrepreneurs who live on the edge taking what seemed like a long shot. It certainly was nothing like what we had seen as our futures. However, with their endless patience and empathic approach, our QA team members gave us the courage to imagine ourselves as entrepreneurs. Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam and the team supported UptimeLabs every step of the way. We still have a long way to go, but it gives us comfort knowing that we have the support of the QA team.
